1

Propose for the club to run 1 class for TC just like what has happened in 2009 pro-stock only

George Haining
Pauline Haining

2

Within the pro-stock class to run a budget class (like the juniors). The exact format of this class to be agreed within a sub committee but designed to encourage people to start racing. (maybe along the lines of: no tyre warmers, cheep limited qty control tyre, limited final drive gear ratio, etc)

George Haining
Pauline Haining

3

Committee members can only hold one race day post.

George Haining
Pauline Haining

4

Propose we increase the membership fees slightly this year and give committee members free membership and BRCA membership. We think this will reward and encourage people to join the committee and help out running the club.

George Haining
Pauline Haining

5

Propose we have 2 work weekends each year and that every member is encouraged to attend 1, or help out at a big meeting like the Much More GP scruntineering or the likes. Reason for this is to try a spread the work load of the club between all its members and not just allow some members to do all the work.

George Haining
Pauline Haining

6

Propose we have a 2wd & 4wd off-road competition next year. Both classes should be separated if numbers allow heat wise but come the finals race together. Points should be awarded per normal for each class. 4wd is always faster so to encourage 2wd I think we should recognise the class separately from 4wd.

George Haining
Pauline Haining

7

Propose we only supply trophies for members who ask for them and attend the AGM. Trophies to be available to any person completing a full series. About a 1/3 of trophies are not collected / wanted. This is a waste of money for the club not to mention the environment.

Pauline Haining

8

Proposal for Race Directors for 2010. Touring Car: Derek Blaikie. Off-Road: Philip Kelsey-Davies

Derek Blaikie
George Haining

9

Proposal for Derek Blaikie to continue as Web Master in 2010

Derek Blaikie
George Haining

10

I like to propose that a formal Off-Road project team is formed to look at:

Derek Blaikie
George Haining

11

Michael Robertson to be SCRA representative for SDRCC

Michael Robertson
George Haining

12

Allow people to continue to use 6 cell SubC in both classes but run to 1350g or as close as they can get.

Chris Briggs
George Haining

13

Only have points for the finals 100, 99, 98, etc...

Reason we don’t want the club to fragment into 2 many race classes and since nobody raced modified last year I think we should formalise the situation.

I like to propose that a formal Off-Road project team is formed to look at:

- Suitable location for construction of a permanent off-road track, if not Stonehaven. Final location must have committee support so a presentation may be needed with Pro's and Con's (personally I'd say stick with Stonehaven if there is room and this keeps the club together - the danger of moving it could be a split, which does not benefit anyone).
- Produce plan for track layout including facilities
- Provide estimated costs for construction
- Obtain committee approval.
- Have track built for the beginning of next season
- Promote the track

The team shout be at least:

- Project Manager, who will report to the committee on a fortnightly basis
- Track Designer, reporting in to the PM

PM can request others to join the team but they must be willing to take an active role.

There will be a Webpage showing the progress of the project which will be part of the promotion.
