Alex Robertson Wins Junior Pro-Stock Champoinship

Congratulations to Alex Robertson on winning the Junior Pro-Stock Championship this year with 3 rounds still to go.

Alex joined SDRCC last year and just missed out in 2008 to Stephen Burnett in a battle which went down to the wire! Alex has been driving the Associated TC5 for most of this year whilst being sponsored by CML via Lesro models, however in the last few weeks he has accepted an offer from Schumacher to drive the new MI4 for the remainder of the season and next year. This drive was offered to Alex because of the impression he made during the Much-More GP and the Nationals he has been attending this year. Alex is also the raining Scottish Junior Champion however, due to racing commitments he has been unable to defend this title this year.

So next time you see Alex remember and congratulate our youngest ever junior champion!

Dan Wins Round 4 Off-Road

Dan Rowlands wins Round 4 of the Off-Road event. It’s been a while since Dan last raced Off-Road and with a little help getting his car back into working order he managed pip Dom to the post. Well done Dan.

Banchory Academy

SDRCC was the host setting for a visit from Banchory Academy. A group of enthusiastic kids, and their teachers, spent the day at SDRCC racing their newly bought cars. The aim of the day was to show the kids how much fun RC Car racing can be. The weather was good with a few minor showers - which only enhanced the drifting skills shown on the track!
