| Racing Tip: | Use hot glue to fix off road tires. 1. use some abrasive on surfaces where the tire and wheel meet. 2. Put a bead of hot melt glue in the groove on the wheel 3. allow to cool 4. fit tire 5. heat in oven for about six mins at about 100c 6. marvel at your wonderous new fitted tire! To remove a worn tire simply put back in oven to melt the glue and then you can pull the tire off. WARNING.. Ovens vary so experiment first. Do not try this on tamiya wheels, they use a different type of plastic and may melt. Take care with the hot glue, its very burny. If you are under 30, make sure you have responsible adult supervision. |
| About Yourself: | Had various Off Road cars in my teens and early 20's but didn't race. I found the SDRCC club in 2008 and thought i would give Off Road a try. It has turned out to be immensely enjoyable. |
