Race Director
If anyone needs extra time for unforeseen problems please let the race director know ASAP. The race director will review the request and confirm to all if there are any timing changes.
There will be enough time to start charging your batteries after your race and before marshal duties.

Race Day
- All drivers should help with setting up. If you want a pitch in the pit tent then you must help either put it up or take it down.
- If you want to turn up late and race please email the race director On-Road / Off-Road before hand. Please note that if you say you are going to turn up and then don't you will be expected to pay your race day fee.

Important Information
- If you wish to join SDRCC please complete the membership form and hand it into Race Control when you book in, along with the membership fee.
- If you do not have a completed membership form and fees, a non member race fee will apply on the day.
- All returning racers must show their current BRCA membership. No card, no race. This is extremely important otherwise SDRCC will not be covered for insurance.

Hours: 09.00 - 17.00
Setting up for racing starts at 9:00 hrs and racing starts at 10.00 hrs with 60 minutes between rounds unless weather dictates otherwise. Extra 30 mins for lunch.

Wednesday night practice sessions at SDRCC.
These events will take place on Wednesday summer nights, please check the forum for dates and times. There will be no racing as such, the key aim is to allow existing members to try different set-up and for new / less experienced members to tap into the knowledge of the more experienced racers. The will be no timed races however, when ever possible we will aim to have a timing computer running so that drivers can see lap times as per race day practice sessions. If you are looking to get involved in this great hobby then pop on down, all members are friendly and we now have a test car for you to have a few laps with.
We intend to keep things very relaxed on Wednesday nights. As always, the health and safety of all involved is paramount. Potential members will not just be let loose on the track with a car with out instruction from a club member. Also, we will impose a 2 practice session limit for all new comers, after that you will need to join the club and the BRCA in order to ensure you have correct liability insurance (provided with BRCA membership). Those who are already BRCA members will also be expected to become club members after they have attended 2 sessions.
Due to time restraints, we will not be setting the tents up, if it looks like rain then a decision will be made by 1pm on the Wednesday and posted on the forum. Please check before leaving home if there is a chance of rain.
The cost.... well, this is one of those lovely occasions when the additional cost is nothing. The aim is to allow members to get more out of the club rather than for the club to get more out of its members!
